Product access & purchase policies
Clear scope. Clear expectations.
Purchasing is not open yet. The policies below describe the individual and team Training, Field Guide and bundle offers when purchasing opens.
Named Course Access and Renewal
A paid course seat is for one named learner and twelve months of access. For individual and team purchases, each learner claims working Training access within 90 days of confirmed payment; their own twelve months begins when that access is claimed. Each person signs in separately. Shared logins and unlimited organizational access are not included.
The approved individual and team prices apply to the same product bought together, with volume pricing starting at three seats. Purchasing is not open yet. You may correct or reassign an unclaimed seat; claimed-seat transfers and Training claims after 90 days go to support. Each later order and Training renewal qualifies by its own quantity of the same product, without combining previous orders. Guide purchased-edition rights do not expire with the Training claim window.
Renewal is initiated by the customer. MiniDCD will not automatically charge again. Reminders are planned sixty and thirty days before expiration, with a clear renewal link or supported invoice option. An early renewal adds twelve months to the existing expiration date. After expiration, the new twelve-month term starts when payment is confirmed and working access is restored. Without renewal, course access ends at term end.
Internet Access
NSPIRE Training requires an internet connection for lessons, narration and the final assessment. Saved progress files and certificates are records, not a downloaded offline course. The NSPIRE Field Guide works offline after activation and a complete download; first-time sign-in, setup and downloading updates require internet access. These requirements also apply to the two products in the bundle.
Permanent NSPIRE Field Guide Use and Updates
A standalone Guide purchase grants one named learner permanent licensed use. Updates released for that Guide are included at no additional charge through the existing key when the learner connects. An active course subscription is not required. The NSPIRE Field Guide purchased in the bundle has the same rights and remains usable after normal Training expiration. Two active browser installations are allowed; a browser installation is not necessarily a physical device. These rights do not transfer copyright ownership or permit redistribution.
Training and NSPIRE Field Guide Bundle
The bundle is an ongoing purchasing option. It combines twelve months of Training for one named learner with perpetual NSPIRE Field Guide access. Training can be renewed separately without purchasing another NSPIRE Field Guide license.
Seven-Day Refund Policy
Request a refund at support@minidcd.com within seven calendar days of payment, including order details. Course refunds must be requested before course completion. Standalone Guide refunds have no use restriction within that window. Eligible purchases receive a full refund to the original payment method.
A refund ends the refunded product’s access or license. A full refund of a bundle ends the Training and NSPIRE Field Guide entitlements supplied by that bundle; a separately purchased, unrefunded NSPIRE Field Guide remains valid. The seven-day window starts at payment, not when a seat is claimed. Contact support about partial team or bundle refunds and upgrades; these require individual review and are not automatically processed by this website. Unrefunded product rights remain separate.
Support and Learner Records
Contact support@minidcd.com for access, installation, Guide keys, updates and billing help. The initial response target is two business days, Monday through Friday. Resolution time depends on the issue.
MiniDCD’s selected policy retains completed learner progress, assessment, completion and certificate records for at least seven years after completion. Identity-checked copies remain available on request after course access ends, without requiring renewal. The paid service’s storage, backup and retrieval processes remain to be verified before launch.
Course Completion and Optional Practice
About 27 hours of recorded instruction form the core course. The approximately 34-hour total also allows four hours for the optional checkpoints, 1½ hours for review, and 1½ hours for one final assessment attempt. These are self-paced estimates, not a required attendance timer. You may take the final assessment at any time. To earn your MiniDCD Systems LLC completion certificate, view both pages of all 410 lessons and pass the 40-case, open-reference assessment with 70% or higher. The 20 application checkpoints are optional bonus practice; they are not required for the exam or certificate. A passing assessment requires at least 28 correct answers out of 40.
This is a non-accredited course with no CE credit. The MiniDCD Systems LLC certificate records course completion; it is not HUD inspector certification, verified field competence or accredited credit. MiniDCD is not currently an IACET Accredited Provider.
Independent Products and Official Requirements
